Organization chosen for this month’s EcoJoia Fund donation!

We have proudly selected the Kiva organization for the first EcoJoia Fund donation. 30% of the July sales from the EcoJoia Fund merchandise will be donated to a Kiva recipient of our choice. We are currently in the process of selecting a female small business owner in Africa or South America to help with a micro loan. Micro lending is a proven solution for lifting people out of poverty and violence by enabling them to help themselves economically. Stay tuned for the profile of our final selection!

The Cove is the winner of 13 2009 film festival awards, including The Audience Award at Sundance, and features the efforts of the Save Japan Dolphins coalition. In theaters nationwide beginning July 31st.

The Cove hits theaters around the country early August! Visit http://www.takepart.com/thecove or http://www.thecovemovie.com to see the trailer and gather information. Visit www.savejapandolphins.org to support star of The Cove and dolphin activist Ric O’Barry’s efforts in ending the Taiji, Japan dolphin slaughter.
Volunteers are needed in cities around the US to help promote The Cove and spread cause awareness. Do your part to help end the dolphin massacre in Taiji, Japan and ultimately end dolphin captivity programs all together. Volunteers will be put in contact with local “Cove Captains” to be put to work around the national release of the movie.
