Yovany is a member of the Lila Communtiy Bank. She is a 36-year-old married mother of two children. Yovany makes a living making typical bread products such as biscuits, an activity she carries out from an oven she rents. Her sales are by order and she also sends her products to the city of Lima. Yovany is requesting a loan of 2000 soles (approximately $700), which she plans to invest in the purchase of flour, coconut and cinnamon. Yovany’s dreams are for her children to be successful and to finish building her home.
